Even More Istanbul Pictures

Eric has sent so many pictures, I am beginning to believe he is on vacation rather than "working"!

Additional Pictures of Istanbul

Looking back at the Asia-side of Turkey

Eric is loving the Turkish food.  He had a dinner at a Turkish place that had belly-dancers. It was wild-

not the belly-dancers but the constant Turkish music playing along with random pop songs. At one point the Bee Gees "Staying Alive" came on and the place erupted into an impromptu dance/disco, lead by the Columbia team/tables. It was surreal. After that there was no turning back, everybody in the place started dancing for the next hour and a half!

A Few More Pcitures

Istanbul

Well, Eric has the good fortune of traveling again, and to a place he has never been--Istanbul.  I am bitter and jealous!  But as I have been going through the pictures he is sending, the memories have been flooding back to me...the tile work, the mosques, the spice market, the food...

Similiar to Vietnam, the street is a perfect place for lunch!
