Snowlandia!

We are on our third day of snow in Portland (a rare occurrence!)  The snow has been great to play and sled in.  We had an awesome time sledding down on our next street over that is a hill.  Even managed to get a video of us on a not-so-perfect run down the hill!

Pearl is 6!...Really!

So today is the actual day that Pearl is six.  She is decked out in Hello Kitty for school.

Pearl is 6!

Well, almost, but we have had a slew of celebrations in anticipation for the day (tomorrow the 13th).  She had a one-on-one party with her bestie, Leif.  Then last night family came over to celebrate.  Today four classmate friends are coming over to play and celebrate.  We decorated the basement and created play stations.  Surely there is enough to keep them happy for two hours!  It is difficult to believe that she is already 6 years old.

Palm Springs 2013

We were lucky enough to spend the week between Christmas and New Years in Palm Springs.  The weather was perfect everyday and we did little but hang out at the pool meeting interesting people and having fun.  We also saw our friends from San Diego which was an unexpected treat!

Last weekend we had friends over and we made S'mores in our fire pit.  It was the first official use of the pit.  The S'mores were good and made it feel like summer lasted just a bit longer.

We also went to the pumpkin patch last weekend.  We did not get any really good pictures but Eric liked these, so here they are.
