Wild pack of dogs

Carli had nine friends over today for her birthday. Yes, nine girls all at once. And it felt like a wild pack of dogs! The music was thumping, the girls were screaming and we were rich in chaos. The girls quickly mastered the scavenger hunt. I was hoping that would take at least 30 minutes but alas, they were done in five. Then on to the presents...another five minutes. Then red velvet cupcakes...another seven minutes. Then the mad dash started....with only an hour and 43 minutes to go...

The girls had fun and we are glad it only happens once a year! :)

Carli's earrings

Carli wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Now, you avid blog readers might remember that we did this two years ago. And, yes, we did but without success. So we decided to try again. Carli was quite brave and very proud with her new earrings. But mom, on the other hand could not look.

Hopefully these will work this time and we will be purchasing earrings for her next birthday! Hope you enjoy the pictures of her earrings!

Pearl's new haircut

Pearl's mom, Carli, decided that she needed a haircut. Carli determined that now that Pearl is three, the proper hair style is a bob so that is what we did today. Pearl was quite proud of her new look!
